Finally got the chance to blog about my taiwan trip which happens in JUN 2013. The last time i went to taiwan was in 2007 with friends but this time round was with my famiy. Instead of just going to taipei alone, we venture to taichung and alishan too.

The main attraction for taichung, is this place:

Whereby all the stuff are made out of carton box. 

Of cos, not forgetting about feng jia night market, where there are lots of nice food around.

The next day we headed off to our next destination, alishan

Alishan , was remembered for its nice scenery

the only regret was not to catch its sunrise. I am sure it will be damn nice.

And all thanks to them we have a enjoyable time in alishan.

Taipei, was different from the previous round i went, we focus more on scenic spot than shopping

Dazzling sereved the best food i ever have in taiwan!

Third time this year to take a plane and be out of Spore. This time round to bkk, the cheap cheap cheap place to shop. Hurray.It was a short getaway trip to let our hair down from this work stress country.

How i wish i could go travelling every month.

8th July 2012, the day which i went on for my virgin business trip. The destination : China, shandong. It was quite an eye-opening experience. The flight with transit took me 8 hrs from spore to shandong. Met up with suppliers and they were hospitable. With less than 50 bucks a night you can stay in a 5 star hotel. And the room is freakingly cool built with my fav transparent windowed bathroom and a king sized bed awaiting for you. I really love the stay over there but how many times do you go to shandong. hmm. Everyday, suppliers drove different cars to fetch us around be it to their companies or around china. In just a few days i get to sit cars which i never sat before, volkswagen, audi, BMW, MVP.

At the same time, i get to eat the most disgusting things i have ever ate before which is insects. hmm well i shan't add on further. But it was an experience. As for alcohol, shandong ple really can drink. And they love to toast you. Everyday , every meal there would be wine/ beer serving u. Eating with the suppliers or their family is a heart-warming experience as they treat you like part of their family and help to fill up your bowl with dishes.

Not only that, work -wise i too learn or gain something, see-ing how the suppliers manufacture our stuff . I must admit i could only understand partially of what they are explaining as their shandong slang is quite heavy...If they could explain in english that would be even better.

In conclusion, just a few days stay in china make me understand more about China and gain some exposure. Never did i regret going there.....

This was my virgin trip to the shopping and eating paradise. This paradise is a 4 hr flight from singapore and they have winter but no snow. When i recahed there it was summer, and the weather is rather similar to that of singapore.

So this paradise is called hong kong, everything is similar to singapore just that the clothes are cheaper, the food are nicer. The best meal i ever had is hong kong is this bowl of noodle from this shop. The noodle tasted like spore chu mi fen but the feeling is still  different. The soup smell nice and upon eating the first mouth of noodle, you will be sure to say thats the best noodle ever eaten.

Next the best drink is this, from "xu liu shan". If You like mango dessert thats the shop for you, they served drinks and dessert. Every drink tried tasted pretty nice and it impossible to find a drink which tatsed bad.  And how i wished they did open one outlet in singapore and i will patronise them every week.

ANd the best dessert goes to crumbs , which served yougurts and together with the crumbs the yougurt tasted perfect. shiok !

So with the food hunting all day long we also included ocean park in our itinary too. Ocean park is an amusement park which grow up with the older generation of hongkee. This park looks old school but nevertheless i enjoyed myelf in there. Whereby you see sea creatures and also get to play the rides too.

Not forgetting the night view and laser show at victoria harbor. Lots of sky scrapers and come together to make hongkong a country with beautiful night scenery .

Thats sum up my 5 days worth of stay in hong kong. To end, hong kong is a cantonese speaking country and i personally feel that you must at least know abit of cantonese if not you can hardly survive there. I pretty enjoyed touring hong kong, just that if their service improve and poeple are more polite that would be a better place. And i have tried their modes of transport, like mtr, taxi , mini bus and ting ting bus to immerse into the hong kong culture. Hong kong is pretty a safe place to go, as the police do frequent patrol be it in the morning r late at night. And people over there are slim and u hardly will see any obese people. I guess that got to do with you can hardly see any escalator , only lots of staircase in HK.  And hongkong people walk on foot if the mtr station is 2 station apart, thats show how fit the poeple are in there. 3 cheers to hong koong. Bye bye to this shopping paradise, till we meet again =)

Well, i am just one stubborn person. I will just do what i feel that is right. No matter what you guys say or what i will not give in. Thats's just me...

Upon hearing , i felt disgusted by some people actions. Probably money has brought out the evil side of some people. Well its not a bad thing afterall, as it allows the people around them especially their friends to see the true sights of them. I just hope we wouldn't become like them....

I am truely upset...

Wonder how can I ease the pain in me

Prob I shouldn't let anyone knows how sad m I.

Like she said our feeling are transferable .. When u r happy the surrounding will feel it and be happy. Similarly when u r sad the surrounding will feel it and be sad.

Today shall be the day where I can cry my heart out not afraid of how ple will see me tmr..

2011

2011 is coming to an end..How do i summarise 2011..hmm...

2011 is pretty ok...all i rmb is juz work n work and time flies...the year was pretty smooth but nt till dec..where this month is filled with hiccups. hope this phase will be over soon and 2012 will be a better one

In short, 2011 is the year where i got my first job, had trips to malaysia(kukup, JB,KL, malacca, ports dickson) , vietnam, batam.

In 2012, i hope life would be better, happier and much more meaningful. By the end of 2012,

i would like to change to a better pay job, try backpacking, visit to countries which i nv did, and be less bad temper and appreciate the surrouding more.

19 more days and i will say byebye to 2011.

travel

5 day trip to a developing country which is 1 and half hr apart from singapore by plane. They use dong as their currency.Bustling traffic, filled with motorcycles be it in the day or night. Braved through the taffic and thats only when you can proudly say you have reached Vietnam, Ho Chin minh city.

The cu chi tunnel is their main attraction. I have tried tunneling through for a 50 m span of tunel which left my leg muscle aching for 2 days. Say me weak but it's real tiring to squeeze through the hole where there is no lights and limited oxygen. Crawling and duck walking are the only two options to make your way through the tunnel

Pho, their famous noodle soup was delicious something like kway tiao soup . THeir Ice coffe are cheap and nice which starbucks or coffee bean are not comparable with. Fruit Milk shake @ ben thanh market which cost 1 plus bucks tasted heavenly such that you can drink up to 4 cups.

Saigon beer which cost only less than 1 bucks per bottle are the only answer why the ang mohs will gather at the two stalls at night to chill. I have tried drinking the beer and that night i have a good sleep despite with someone snores.

The food which left me with the most impression is actualy a road side stall. This road side stall sell beancurd, her beancurd literally can melted in your mouth( This is the only beancurd which i tatsted in my whole life where i can really proclaimed that it really melts in your mouth). The beancurd is topped with ginger syrup, coconut paste and some pearl which tatse like koi pearl.lol. i regretted not detecting this on my first day of stay in HCMC.

The vietnamese are generally friendly and helpful toward tourist. Their life are simple and they love lying on their hammocks during their free time. After schl, their parents will parked outside the school gate with their bikes waiting for their kids to end school. At night, one particular group of kids love to gather outside my hotel and play football or gun fighting.

Thats all summarise the 5 day stay in HCMC. Goodbye HCMC till we meet again..........

Movie

Recently i watch a movie titled " 那些年，我們一起追的女孩" . I would say its really a great movie. A great movie coupled with a great song, perfect.

看完了這个電影， 有好多感處。

其實不知看完電影的感覺到地是設麼

電影充滿遺憾，搞笑，回憶，傷感。

讓我想起學生生涯

如果可以的話我會在看這一部戲多一次。

不後悔

沒看電影才是後悔。。。

看完了兩次這部電影，

我知道我可以看它無數次

it has been quite sometimes since i have blog or pen down my thoughts. I admit i am kinda lazy to do so. ha.

Ever since work started, i dont have the time for myself. Wkdays are for working, eating, watching tv and sleeping. Wkends are for friends and family and shopping. As i entered the working society, i realised wkends are precious and sometimes you dont even have the time for yourself.

But as one thing good about working, you get to have more chance to travel around the world. Tats something to look forward to.

我好想問“ 朋友好久不見， 你還好嗎？”

分分合合。不知该高興或可惜。希望你能找到自己的幸福。希望她是你要找的那个人。

Sometimes, something is not as scary as you thought it to be. You just have to get it started somewhere and everything will flow smoothly.
